WWII politics up your sheath, German AFVs and German services equipment is soothe the pledge Ruler as it comes to model building. Dragon continues to yield fine kits, and in person, I rate them amongst my top five favorites, the others being Bronco, AFV Club, Society, and newer Trumpeter kits. This isn't a pan against Tamiya, Italeri, Eduard, or the super high end plastic and resin kits. While I don't know how recent a plastic molding practice this is, this fastidious kit has extremely watery departed armor compared to the plastic in most additional kits I be inflicted including seen. Dragon advertises it as Razor Edge Ultra Slim Injection Molding. Details are bracing and since this is an commence vehicle, the departed armor thickness is more to scale than traditional plastic represents it. Net openings in the deck covers are completely commence rather than the more predictable solid pieces including the details molded on. There is effectively no flash at all. The kit contains 9 bags total including the sprues, the lower hull, and the ample point bits and pieces. There's a kind bit of PE, clear parts, and of way, Dragon's Key Track individual link tracks. There are painting instructions and decals for 5 different units. The only thing I wish was different was an inclusion of aluminum gun barrels including a point kit to assemble them. Or, at least, making them one solid cut rather than two halves. (At this time's hoping Jordi Rubio or Aber will fill this need.) I'm not a rivet counter so I can't note on the rigorous suitability of every point of this kit. I'm not reasonably that obsessed, but commonly, Dragon does OK. If there are issues the aftermarket always jumps in including corrections. From a historical perspective I liked this subject since it fits of laughter in so water supply including the additional Panzerjagers in my bring together. This was the first reservoir hunter and was based on the Panzer I Ausf. B which helped yield that vehicle a modest longer production go. They saw action in France, the Eastern Adjoin, and North Africa. By 1943 best vehicles for this purpose were produced and the Panzerjager Is were relegated to patrolling in occupied territories and challenging-partisan operations. Around 200 were produced (converted, actually), 130 or so by Alkett and in this area 70 by Skoda. There are a few extant examples soothe around. It's interesting to see the advance of the reservoir hunter from this ahead of schedule version to the shortly ones including the untried E-10. All in all, after getting this kit and inspecting the contents I would buy it again.
