I do some small painting projects, gunsmith projects, small screws/parts mostly, although I have used durakote and cerakote with an HVLP sprayer, I bought a Hassle develop 350 air brush for the smaller projects.I figured for the amount of time and trouble using a document cone paint filter buying one of these would be a good tradeoff.Well, sort of.First, the hole in the red cap had to be enlarged to some extent to fit the nylon (teflon?) tube in the paint jar that plugs into the airbrush soubriquet. Fortunately I had a box of step-sized drill bits and a vernier dial caliper to rate the OD of the tubing. Hole drilled, red cap slid on - a little tightly so it would stay in place while fitting the screen - I put the screen in place and assembled the paint jar.Didn't fit.Here's the thing. I WANT to use as much of the paint as doable. This means the pick up tube must come very accurate to the bottom of the jar. That dark ring you see to the left, opposite the red cap

This is a reissue of on old model that I wanted as a outcome but never got. It is extremely simple to assemble but requires some filling including contour putty if you want it to look it's best. This model requires a really good paint job to make it "come alive". So if you enjoy painting miniatures, you'll have a good time including this.
