Gundam HG Rx-0 Unicorn Gundam (Unicorn Mode) 1/144 Scale Full Psycho Frame Prototype Mobile Suit w/ 1/44 Scale Head Display Base Limited Edition Shopper ReviewsSo initially thing initially. This kit does not come with a beam rifle. You only get the bazooka and one clear beam saber blade. You have to get the NTD mode kit to get the rifle. A bit of a bummer. Anyhow what you get is real nice. The usual HGUC quality with high quality molded parts. Apart from the awesome mech point there is not that much separates this kit from other HGUC kits except the fact that you get a display base with a generous Unicorn head bust that also transforms into the NTD mode head. Very awesome! If you get really techy you could put some LEDs into the bust and light it all up. Would look sweet cool. Also check out the MG version of this kit. Costs a lot more but it is worth it... check it out.

As the other reviewer said, this gundam does not come with a beam rifle, The NTD version does (which I have so this does not scare me). After construction mobile suits for about 8 years I can say I am thoroughly impressed with the feature these kits have taken on. Seam lines are positioned in places that make them must less noticeable, the joints are less prone to breakage (Soft plastic parts are used as a replacement for of fixed hard plastic stubs), an the feature of the plastic is much greater. The base for this transforms which is great but the one piece that hold the V-fin in place can be loose (not a big deal). The part count is sweet hefty at first glance (my eyes may fool me) which is a step in the right direction for bandai's HGUC kits. Amazing kit. Buy this and the NTD HGUC unicorn. My new favorites over even my MG Kampfer

Hasegawa 1/72 F-14A Tomcat (Low-Visibility) Shopper Review

A great kit with good detail: Sadly the panel lines were raised on it, but aside from that it was a good kit.
