Gisele Bundchen's History of Controversies

Another day, another drama for Gisele Bndchen. The world's highest paid supermodel, 33, posted a photo of herself breast-feeding her daughter Vivian, 1, on Instagram, along with the caption, "What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only three hours of sleep #multitasking #gettingready." While some mothers blasted the Brazilian beauty for the shot, others came to her defense. Given her history of making controversial statements, it's unlikely that Bndchen cares. Over the summer, Bndchen posted a photo of her daughter, Vivian, wearing earrings, incensing some of her followers. But others understood the decision. "I think what a lot of people don't realize is that this is something that's very popular in Gisele's culture," said Ericka Souter, editor of The Stir. "She's Brazilian, and in Latin America it is very common to get your infant daughter's ears pierced."

Bndchen was being a supportive wife when she went to the 2012 Super Bowl to watch her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady play, but she was furious when his team lost. "My husband cannot f*****g throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time," she said as she walked out of the stadium.

In 2011, the supermodel proclaimed that there should be a law mandating that mothers breast-feed their babies for six months, though she later backtracked, saying it was a personal choice. Still, it didn't help that around the same time, she said that her son's birth didn't hurt "in the slightest."

When Bndchen and Brady said, "I do" in 2009, it was clear she was ready to be a stepmother to his young son with actress Bridget Moynahan, too. "I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child," she told Vanity Fair magazine at the time. "I feel like it is, 100 percent." Moynahan was stunned, as were other mothers around the country.
