I built this kit as a kid and it turned out to be a favorite model and also a great bath time toy. It hasn't been available for many years but now it is back from the past. It is a relatively easy kit to build with your outcome and also fun in the tub because it floats. Cast iron to add frogman fun and lengthen your outcome's bath time. Most pieces are large and they fit together very well. It is not a highly detailed model but then neither was a landing craft. The kit looks great built.

I just purchased this kit pro $16.00 early Hobbylinc and establish the parts intact. I resolute to top the parts of the kits with the intention of were valuable and started with the two crew figures where I replaced the heads and helmets with ones early spare DML figure kits. I at that time painted each figure with acrylic craft paints as with all my models. The .30 cal Apparatus guns are early The high classes Models and I added scratch built splinter shields with the intention of were made of wood in the reality. The cruiser was airbrushed with a 50/50 mixture of Foggy Grey acrylic paint and desolate windshield wiper fluid and after drying agreed a tint of watered down acrylic black paint. Count to the realism was mounting the hull into a base of acrylic caulk which was at that time painted with glossy sea desolate and colorless to trade show off the realistic equipment of the model.I would vastly recommend this kit to any model building of any skill level.
